BELOIT (WRN) - A man wanted for a murder near a Beloit elementary school a week ago is due in court late Wednesday afternoon. 27-year-old Antonio Mance of Beloit was charged Wednesday in Rock County with homicide and attempted homicide. He turned himself in Tuesday night. Police said Mance apparently fired shots at a car – and after the driver was wounded, he drove into the school parking lot and struck a utility pole and 5 other vehicles. The driver, 22-year-old Derick Kimber of Beloit, was killed. And a 24-year-old man was wounded in the incident, which occurred last Tuesday near Merrill Elementary School in Beloit.
