Allendale Twp. Considers More Off-Campus Housing

(Allendale Twp.) - Continued student growth at Grand Valley State University is behind an effort to build a 192-unit off-campus apartment complex near 48^th Avenue and Lake Michigan Drive that could house over 500 students. Campus Crest Communities wants over 28 acres that is currently the site of a motel and a proposed restaurant rezoned. The Allendale Township Board is expected to review the request and a site plan at tonight’s meeting.
