KALAMAZOO -- The clock is ticking louder than ever for lawmakers in Lansing and one representative says there's no easy place to lay the blame for the unfinished Michigan state budget. Representative Larry DeShazor says even in the days leading up to the deadline, there's been something missing in Lansing.
"What I've found in the last few months up there is that there's no sense of urgency," says DeShazor.
The Michigan Senate has already passed two continuation budgets in the event that a final budget for the next fiscal year isn't completed on time. Their deadline is Wednesday night at midnight.
