KALAMAZOO (WKZO) - There was no settlement in the latest round of talks between Borgess Medical Center and its Nurse’s union.
The Michigan Nurses Association is pushing for nurse to patient ratios that the hospital says are not necessary to provide adequate care. They apparently talked all day Tuesday without reaching a deal. Borgess Spokesman Lou Tysman says more talks are planned. Their contract expired a week ago.
