Director David Fincher is set to take charge of a big budget remake of the first installment of Stieg Larsson's bestselling Millennium Trilogy, and now Wright has been linked to the project.
She is in talks to play Erika Berger, the lover of Craig's character, Mikael Blomkvist, according to Deadline.com.
However, casting for the female lead, Lisbeth Salander, is still a mystery - Juno's Ellen Page and Alice In Wonderland's Mia Wasikowska are reportedly being considered for the part, while Natalie Portman has denied signing onto the film.
