EAST LANSING -- An East Lansing couple’s 1925 Model-T coupe is heading east to Ford’s World Headquarters to become a different kind of Model…a photographer’s model. Why? The classic car is to be transported by flatbed truck on August 31st to Ford Motor Company’s world headquarters in Dearborn to be photographed with company CEO Alan Mulally. The vehicle is owned by Philip and Helen Nicholoff, who now live at the Burcham Hills Retirement Center in East Lansing.

The Model-T has occupied a prime parking spot at Burcham since just before Father’s Day. The Nicholoffs gave the car to their son, Kris, about 10-years ago. Kris tells the Lansing State Journal the car is, quote “giving back as much now—in a different way—that it ever has. The Nicholoffs bought the classic car back in 1950.
