MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - Prosecutors in Milwaukee are considering charges against a man accused of killing a cousin. 33-year-old Brian Patterson is in jail as he awaits court action. Police said money was the motive behind the shooting death of 39-year-old Joseph McGowan on Tuesday. Authorities said McGowan went to the front of Patterson’s house to collect money the relative owed him. Witnesses said Patterson went inside the house, came out with a gun, and fired numerous shots from close range. He then reportedly gave the gun to another man, who drove off with it.
