(Grand Rapids, MI)  --  Rick Snyder and Virg Bernero say they they will continue negotiations over televised debates ahead of November's election for governor.  The two candidates appeared at a public forum in Grand Rapids on Friday, where both told the gathered crowd that they would oppose tax increases in Michigan and work with state employees to reduce their compensation.  Snyder said that he plans to sit down with Bernero in the next week to discuss debates.  Last weekend, the two campaigns were trading blame over an apparent impasse in debate negotiations.
