DETROIT (WKZO) -- Just hours after announcing that Mitt Romney would make a stop in Detroit, the Detroit Economic Club had to find a larger venue.
According to club members, a bigger venue was needed due to a surge in ticket demands. Romney is scheduled to speak at Ford Field on February 24th, just days before the Michigan primary.
Originally the GOP presidential candidate and Michigan native was scheduled to speak at the Westin Book Cadillac hotel in downtown Detroit.
