SWANSBORO (WKZO) -- Police in North Carolina have released the name of a former Kalamazoo woman shot to death on Monday.
Suzy Zemlick, 50, married Matthew Zemlick two years ago, then moved to be near Camp Lejune where he was stationed. The couple separated 8 months ago and Suzy went to live with neighbors, an older couple.
Police said her estranged husband is not a suspect in her death, even though she had allegedly been threatened by Zemlick when they split up.
Police are close to making an arrest in the case.
