Shop with a Cop
What's it all about?
The Shop with a Cop Program pairs a young at-risk teen with a KPS Officer, supplies them with a Walmart gift card and gives them the opportunity to buy holiday gifts for their loved ones.
Both the KPS Officers and 95.5 The Touch staff donate their time to make sure that these kids have a great experience, and hopefully establishing a feeling of value and support, assuring them that they are not alone.
Where we're going to be
This coming season 95.5 The Touch will be is expanding the program to include the following:
- December 12th:
13 children will be taken to Lake Michigan Credit Union on Gull road for dinner and will be presented with savings account vouchers. The kids will be given a Wal-Mart gift card to be used at the Gull road Wal-Mart. - December 13th:
13 children will be taken to Lake Michigan Credit Union on West Main street for dinner and will be presented with savings account vouchers. The kids will be given a Wal-Mart gift card to be used at the 9th street Wal-Mart.
