CENTREVILLE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Hundreds of people are expected to converge on the village of Centreville today for a political event involving rock musician Ted Nugent.
The organizer for the “Constitution Day Celebration”, Jack Coleman, ran as a Republican candidate for state house to represent St. Joseph and Cass counties. He says at least 600 people are expected to show up for the event scheduled to take place on Main St. from 11:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m..
Along with Nugent, several guns rights activists are expected to take part and various other Republican candidates for elected office in Michigan are scheduled to speak.
Due to the potential proximity of guns to schools just a few blocks away, Centreville Schools will be holding a half-day today and dismissing students at 11:30 a.m..
