Other Fricano’s locations across Michigan, including one in Caledonia, will remain open at this time.
The Alamo Township location originally opened in 1979, according to the official Fricano’s website.
This is only the latest Kalamazoo County restaurant to close in part or in full during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In August, Schoolcraft taco restaurant Nonla Taqueria announced that it would be closing its doors, also due to staff shortages.
However, staff said they might reopen that location in the future.
