KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Schools have reported that the Maple Street Magnet School is currently on lockdown.
Principal Dr. Jeffrey Boggan stated that an anonymous phone call was received today at the school, in which a threat to the school was overheard.
At that time, school officials initiated lockdown procedures, and the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety was summoned to the building.
Officers will remain at the school through the end of the school day, and no visitors are allowed in or out of the building.
