KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Police are looking into a strong-arm robbery that took place in a Western Michigan University Parking lot early Tuesday morning, March 1.
Authorities say the report came in just after 1 a.m. of the incident that took place in lot 54 by Valley 1.
Western Michigan Public University staff sent out a message via voicemail and text to subscribers at 2:24 a.m. with what happened and where, a description of the suspects, and a cautionary message to those who may be in the area.
Police describe the three male suspects as unknown to the victim. One wearing a black shirt with a black COVID mask, described as college-aged. The second, wearing a tan shirt, also described as college-aged. A description of the third male was not available. The three suspects were believed to be driving a dark-colored sedan.
