BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Battle Creek Police Department is looking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle that was driven by Angela Kay Clear. Authorities believe the vehicle was stolen by the suspect in her murder.
Clear was found deceased in her apartment last Saturday afternoon on March 26, by police who were conducting a welfare check at the request of her daughter, because she had not heard from her in several days.
On Monday, March 28, investigators ruled the death as a homicide and detained a person of interest in the case.
The vehicle police are looking for is a blue 1995 Oldsmobile Ciera with a Michigan license plate that reads EDB5744. There is also a large “Rest in Peace” sticker with wings in the center of the rear window. The vehicle is presumed to be somewhere between Battle Creek and Big Rapids.
The Battle Creek Police Department is seeking tips from anyone who might have information about this vehicle. Those with more information are asked to call Calhoun County Dispatch at 269-781-0911 or Silent Observer at 269-964-3888.
