BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Beginning Tuesday, May 17, Battle Creek city crews will be shutting down sections of Knapp Drive and Minges Road to investigate an ongoing sinkhole.
The city will close Knapp Drive at Capital Avenue, along with Minges Road. at Watkins Road, to study the sinkhole.
Vehicular traffic in the area should be aware of construction activity and follow posted signs and flagger instructions.
Emergency vehicles and thru traffic will not have access.
There will also be a lane shift of the outside southbound lane on Capital Avenue about 50 feet before the intersection at Knapp Drive.
These areas will be closed beginning Tuesday, May 17, and will remain closed until further notice.
Work will take place from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
