KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety in conjunction with Leadership Kalamazoo held a Public Safety Tour on Thursday.
During the event, participants got to hear firsthand from KDPS administration and engage in a panel discussion about bridging more trust between the community and its leadership.
Participants also got the chance to see a fire demonstration handled by public safety, go on ride along’s with Public Safety Officers and also go through simulation stations.
Officials say the goal was for participants to learn about KDPS’s makeup and structure and learn first hand about the department.
