BARRY TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A woman that Barry Township Police identified on Monday, June 13, as the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash near Delton has been arrested.
Alexandra Palmer was arraigned on Tuesday, June 14, on charges of failure to stop at the scene of a crash resulting in death and moving violation causing death according to police.
Authorities say 21-year-old Mica LeBeau was killed when she was walking along Delton Road near North Grove Street in the early hours of Sunday, May 8, where she was hit by a car.
A notice had been put out by police on Monday that they had identified Palmer as the driver and that they were looking for her.
She was arrested Monday night in Hastings.
