CASS COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – An Indian Motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with injuries after crashing into a downed tree blocking the road early Monday morning, August 7.
Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded responded to the crash around 4:52 a.m. on Kessington Road near Guyer Street in Mason Township.
Investigation of the crash showed that 34-year-old Steven Methe of Goshen, IN was driving south on Kessington Road when he struck a downed tree blocking the roadway.
SEPSA EMS transported Steven to Elkhart General Hospital, in Indiana, for injuries sustained in the crash.
Deputies say the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet during the crash and that drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor.
