PARK TOWNSHIP, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – A woman from Marcellus was arrested Sunday night by the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office after crashing into a utility pole.
Undersheriff Jason Bingaman reports the crash happened just before 11:00 p.m. in the area of Silver Street and Michigan Avenue in Park Township.
The Sheriff’s Department says residents in the area lost their power due to the crash.
The driver along with her six passengers were all treated at the scene and released.
The driver was lodged at the St. Joseph County Jail on pending OWI charges.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Fabius-Park Fire Dept., Three Rivers Fire and Ambulance, Consumers Energy and Brokers Towing.
