KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Saturday is going to be a great day to be a Bronco.
It will mean that all Western Michigan University students will be done with finals for fall term, and will begin a long holiday break.
President Edward Montgomery says 1200 students will be attending graduation ceremonies Saturday.
It’s also a big day because the WMU football team will be playing in a nationally-televised bowl game Saturday evening.
The 6-and-6 Broncos were invited to the IS4S Salute to Veterans bowl game in Montgomery, Alabama.
The game will also be on 106.5 JACK-FM.
It is the 12th time the WMU football team has made it to a post season bowl.
Kick-off for the game and for the entire bowl season will be 9 p.m.
