KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Kalamazoo man accused in the murder of a Galesburg woman has been found guilty, according to an update from MLive Wednesday.
Previously, police were investigating the death of 28-year-old Amber Walker, who was found dead last December in Richland Township.
Walker was shot in the face and run over multiple times before her body was hidden in a nearby lake.
After developing now 25-year-old Chad Michael White as a person of interest in the case, he was apprehended in Plainwell, at which time a gun matching the one used on Walker was found.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office later submitted charges of murder and felony firearm against White.
According to the update from MLive, White was found guilty on charges of first-degree murder and felony firearm.
He is now scheduled for sentencing in December.
