KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — God’s Kitchen of Michigan and Broncos Kitchen will co-host a free Easter dinner from 5 to 6 pm on Thursday, April 6 at their Wesley Foundation meal site, 2350 Ring Road North in Kalamazoo.
The menu will consist of honey ham, fried chicken, au gratin potatoes, a vegetable blend, desserts, and bottled water.
Dinner is open to the public with no income, identification, or religious requirements to participate. There is a one meal per person limit and those taking part must be present to receive a free dinner.
God’s Kitchen of Michigan is a nonprofit hunger relief corporation that serves free dinners to residents of Kalamazoo, Portage, and Battle Creek.
Founded in 2011, the organization has served more than 154,000 meals to the homeless, low-income individuals and families, veterans, and others in need.
Broncos Kitchen is a nonprofit hunger relief corporation serving food-insecure college students that attend Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo College, and Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
Dinners are served from 5 to 6 pm on Mondays and Thursdays at the Wesley Foundation meal site.
The charity served its 10,000th dinner on March 23.
